Refund Policy

Hobson Family Farms, LLC, a California limited liability company (“Company”), is committed to ensuring that you are satisfied with your purchase(s).  This REFUND POLICY (the “Policy”) governs the return and refund of Company’s products.  Company reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to make changes to the Policy, without notice and without liability.  Changes to the Policy will be effective when posted.


  1. Alcohol Products. Applicable law provides that alcoholic beverages can only be returned or refunded if the product is damaged, spoiled, unfit for consumption or shipped to you in error.  If the alcoholic product is damaged, spoiled or unfit for consumption, Company may request that you provide evidence by returning the product (or remaining portions thereof) to Company.  If you believe that your product was damaged during shipment, please contact Company within three (3) days of delivery and be ready to provide Company with a description of the damage and photographs showing the damage.  Please note that Company recommends shipment of alcoholic products by next day air.  Company shall not be liable for any heat related problems (such as expelled corks) if you utilize ground shipping.  If you believe that you are eligible for a return and/or refund, please call or email Company for return instructions. 


  1. Alcohol Delivery Requirements. Applicable law requires that a signature be obtained from an individual over the age of twenty-one (21) for all shipments of alcoholic products.  Notes with a signature that are left for the delivery company are not an acceptable substitute for an individual signing for the shipment.  Company cannot guarantee the condition of any product that is not delivered on the first attempt, as such product may be held in a facility that is not temperature controlled.   


  1. Non-Alcohol Products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase of non-alcohol items, we will attempt to accommodate your refund request.  Company requests that merchandise be returned within thirty (30) days of the purchase date.   


  1. Cost of Shipping for Returned Product. Company will cover the cost for return shipping if Company made a mistake in your order.  Otherwise, you are solely responsible for the shipping costs associated with the return of a product. 


  1. Order Cancellation. If you cancel an order before it has been processed, you will receive a refund for the full amount.  If you cancel an order after it has been processed, Company may charge a restocking fee equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the refunded amount.
